I went to ecr for a wedding….again. The wedding was absolutely adorable …almost as comparable to the delicate little bowl of jeera rice I had in Prive. Now only a few restaurants manage to master a good delicious bowl of jeera rice and you can definitely add Prive,ECR to the list.
On the first bite I knew this was it - it was true love blossoming once in a blue moon.
The perfectly cooked basmati rice forming a tight knot with the distinct -cooked cumin flavour ,enclosed and empowered by our little aromatic delicacy - ghee. Then all of this topped with sudden bursts of joy from fennel seeds and freshly chopped coriander made this dish a heart warming souvenir.
In one bite, the mouthwatering flavour of ghee doing its job like a queen -stimulating a waterfall of digestive enzymes in your mouth which in turn breaks all those other components down and exemplifies the flavours even more. Along with this taking a fresh, tangy, spicy bite of paneer gravy whilst the rice manages to retain its satisfying chew ….made that entire moment a starchy delight.
